Led Zeppelin is all about music, and so is our game. Please study the attached Press Release and Features Matrix. I will touch on a few highpoints.
All games include 10 full length studio Led Zeppelin performances, player selectable at the start of each ball:
- Good Times Bad Times
- Communication Breakdown
- Whole Lotta Love
- Immigrant Song
- Black Dog
- Ramble On
- Rock and Roll
- Trampled Under Foot
- The Song Remains the Same
To avoid repetition, the game start default selection is rotated if player does not make a selection. The music is interactive with the game; game play features update at the start of each verse or chorus of a song.
Steve Ritchie has designed the Led Zeppelin game with the great shots for which he is famous in the pinball world. Included in the Pro are 3 all metal stainless steel and chrome wire ramps that shoot in classic Steve fashion. The center ramp and the 3 bank drop target bank can be shot by any of the 3 flippers; a player can even sweep the drop bank with upper 3rd flipper. For the casual player, again especially important with the upcoming vaccine driven location reopenings, Led Zeppelin has 4 understandable spell out rules and 2 main multiballs with 2 to 6 balls possible. And for the better player, Tim Sexton has created game rules that a player of my skill level may never achieve.
Led Zeppelin includes an all new software controlled 10 band equalizer. Another new feature is owner adjustable automatic dimming of the backglass lighting during game play but not during attract mode. The LCD display includes different concert footage plus digital effects for each song. Each game has a custom molded 13 inch Zeppelin and ball actuated leaping Icarus, the trademark of Led Zeppelin’s Swan Song Records. Custom speech is by performer Brandon Small.
We and the band chose well known Led Zeppelin art. For the 50th anniversary of the Led Zeppelin III album, it’s was selected as the basis for the Pro. The Premium is based on the Led Zeppelin I album cover. The Limited Edition art is based on Swan Song Records’ Icarus trademark.
